Moroso, founded in 1952, is a family-owned company dedicated to the design and manufacture of furnishings of the highest quality and innovative design. Partnering with many of the world’s greatest designers, and under the creative direction of Patrizia Moroso, the company has risen to enjoy a reputation as one of the leading design companies in the world.
From its headquarters in Udine, Italy, Moroso creates sofas, chairs, public area programs, theater seating and products for outdoor living. Its products can be found around the world, in places as varied as the home of Tina Turner, to the newest theater designed by Rem Koolhas/OMA, to the lounges on board many of the world’s most sophisticated cruise ships.
Today, Moroso works with over fifty different designers, from over thirty countries. This list includes Ron Arad, Ross Lovegrove, Patricia Urquiola and Tord Boontje. Many of these globally recognized designers had their start with.
